Sensex, Nifty plunge nearly 2%: Top reasons behind market fall

Equity indices dragged for third straight session on Friday with the benchmark BSE sensex crashing over 1,000 points amid an overall bearish trend in global markets. The 30-share BSE index tanked 1,020.80 points or 1.73% to settle at 58,099. During the day, it tumbled 1,137 points or 1.92% to 57,981.95.
