India's growth outlook soars: Fitch raises medium-term potential to 6.2 per cent

Fitch Ratings has increased India's medium-term potential growth forecast from 5.5% to 6.2%, reflecting the country's economic resilience and expansion potential. Mexico also received a boost with its growth estimate revised from 1.4% to 2.0%. However, China's growth estimate was lowered from 5.3% to 4.6%, while Russia, Korea, and South Africa also experienced decreases. Overall, the ten emerging markets saw a drop in potential growth, mainly due to China's reduced supply-side growth potential.
