India's crude steel production in November increased by 11.4% to reach 11.7 million tonnes (MT), according to the World Steel Association. The country's overall production during January-November was 12.1% higher year on year at 128.2 MT. Global steel production in Nov was 145.5 MT, a 3.3% increase compared to the same month in 2022. China remained the largest producer with 76.1 MT in Nov and 952.1 MT in the Jan-Nov period. Other countries also contributed to global steel production. https://ift.tt/DIzNS71
