Zara founder buys Amazon logistics centre in Dublin for USD 245 million
Spanish billionaire Amancio Ortega, founder of Zara, has purchased a logistics centre in Dublin, Ireland for 225 million euros. This marks the first logistics real estate investment in Ireland by Ortega's investment firm, Pontegadea. The centre, located in Dublin's Baldonnell Business Park, spans 1.2 million square feet and includes 630,000 square feet occupied by Amazon. In addition to this acquisition, Pontegadea has recently invested in luxury buildings, renewable energy projects, and Seattle office blocks leased to Amazon. https://ift.tt/m9bSPIj
