The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has greenlighted an ambitious infrastructure project in Varanasi, featuring a remarkable Rs 10,998.32 crore investment. The initiative is set to create a 43.2-km elevated corridor, referred to as the Varuna Expressway.
